7th District (Gray

The 7th Congressional District encompasses the Woodbridge magisterial district, Potomac magisterial district, and part of the Coles and Occoquan magisterial districts. All of Stafford, Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania, King George, Caroline, Orange, Culpeper, Madison, and Greene counties, and a small ‘sliver’ of Albemarle County.

It is important that we all vote on Tuesday, June 21st for the 7th Congressional District Republican primary. Prince William County supervisor Yesli Vega is a candidate in the 7th congressional district primary and we have to oppose her because she attacked the Muslim community. She won her election to County Supervisor by attacking her Muslim opponent and since elected she has worked to suppress the voice of Muslims in her community, stir up opposition to the masjid’s expansion, and used her ties to law enforcement to arrange meetings designed to pressure Muslim community.

We have to nominate a candidate that has the best interest of the Muslim community. Our rights come from our voices and actions and coming together as a community will make us stronger. Muslim Civic Duty (MCD) endorses and recommends Bryce Reeves for the 7th Congressional District Republican nomination.
